The Villages MINI Cooper Club
MINI CLUB MEETING
April 3, 2018

We welcomed five new couples as members of the Villages Mini Cooper Club. It seems we are introducing multiple new members every month.

Last month Veronica Daley introduced the idea of establishing an event planning committee to coordinate our efforts to keep a pipeline of fun and interesting events for our members. All are encouraged to offer suggestions for activities that involve driving our Minis and, in many cases, assume a leadership role for an event. We got the first report back from the events planning committee last night and they have obviously been hard at work. Future planning ideas (some with specific dates and others not yet) include:
• 4/15 – Poker Run – Patrick Friedman
• 4/25 – Streetside Classics in Lutz + lunch – Charlie Montifia
MAY:
• 5/01 – Dinner at Ricciardi’s and Club Meeting
• 5/2-6 – Minis on the Dragon – 7 couples going
• 05/?? – Yuengling Brewery in Tampa
• 05/23 – River cruise and lunch on St Johns River

JUNE and later:
• “Monsta” Orange Grove
• Fort King with lunch at Braised Onion in Ocala
• Top Golf in either Orlando or Tampa
• Citrus Tower in Clermont
• Aerospace Center
• Car show on Plant Street in Winter Garden (probably September)

JULY:
• 7/10-13 – Minis Take Florida – 4 stops leading to Orlando and MTTS
Last 2 stops are in Tampa and Wesley Chapel.

Begins in Orlando, Tallahassee, New Orleans, Little Rock……
